We all are familiar with India’s most trustable and reputed brand “Amul” Especially, Amul milk and cow ghee is being liked by many people all over India and has the popular caption known as “Amul-The Taste of India”. The 500 ml (425 grams) pack of Amul Cow Ghee when added while preparing sweets makes it much more delicious.
The main reason we purchased this cow ghee was by seeing the caption “High Aroma”.
We have used this cow ghee to make a sweet recipe known as “Payasam” in South India whereas, in North India, it is known by various names such as “Kheer” or “Sheer Kurma”.
1. Unpacking:
While unpacking we can observe that the top layer is covered with silver foil as shown in the below image.
2. Color:
The top layer of this cow ghee looks yellowish in color after unpacking and has a thick layer filled.
3. Heating:
After adding one teaspoon of cow ghee to the pan and heating, we can observe the color changes from yellow to gold color during the heating process.
4. Aroma:
We can observe an excellent aroma during the heating process thereby this cow ghee justifies its caption given on the label.

Traditional Sweet Prepared Using Amul Cow Ghee High Aroma
1. Vermicelli:
To prepare this traditional sweet, we have purchased the basic and most important ingredient known as “Bambino Vermicelli” from Big Basket.
After adding this vermicelli into the pan and frying it using the heated cow ghee, this vermicelli changes to a goldish color as shown in the below image:
2. Cashew:
Before adding cashew, the important step is to fry the cashew nuts in a separate pan after heating Amul Cow Ghee. During the heating process, we can observe the cashew color change from white to brownish-gold color.
The common thing we have observed is that the high aroma can be felt while frying either vermicelli or cashew. But the exact taste and quality of this “Amul Cow Ghee High Aroma” can be felt while adding to the sweet recipe.
3. Dry Fruits:
The Dry fruits have been fried very well which makes them suitable to mix along with the other ingredients of this Sheer Kurma.
4. Milk:
We added toned cow milk along with the fried vermicelli and cashew and made it ready. As we can observe, in this payasam or “Sheer Kurma“, there are many ingredients added which were roasted with this cow ghee.

After tasting the sweet, we can feel the excellent taste of this ghee. Especially, the fried cashew nuts mixed with this sweet increase the taste to a next higher level.
The inner layer of this cashew as well as the dry fruits was fried very well along with this cow ghee.
